For reasons of ethics and third party privacy, oracle and tarot reading services will focus on the service user. Any question asked of the oracle or tarot will be framed and worded to reflect this. Readings will be held in the strictest confidence between the service user and the card reader.

The services provided by TouchWood Mystics are not based on an exact science and are therefore for entertainment purposes only. The tarot and oracle card reading services, and the Reiki healing services are NOT a substitute for legal, financial, business, philosophical or medical advice from a licensed professional. If in doubt about a legal, financial business, philosophical or medical matter, always seek professional advice. Although Tarot/oracle card readings appear to be a form of counselling, they are NOT a substitute for a professional counselling session. If counselling is required by a service user, advice should be sought from a licensed professional.

To prevent the exploitation of those classed as 'vulnerable adults' according to law - for example, those with mental health issues, the recently bereaved, those of a nervous disposition and those diagnosed with a serious medical condition - we strongly advise that the prospective service user gives very careful consideration to whether the time is truly right for him/her to use a service before making a booking.

With any card reading, the cards can suggest courses of action, advice and points for consideration for the service user. However, it remains the service user's freewill and decision as to whether the advice, points to be considered and suggested courses of action should be heeded/acted upon or disregarded. Therefore, if the service user acts upon or adheres to advice given by any card's message(s), it is the service user's full responsibility for any outcomes that result from such action and/or adherence to any card's advice. TouchWood Mystics will not be held liable for the service user's choice of action and/or adherence to the advice given in a card reading.

Since the process of reading oracle and tarot cards is reliant on the intuition and subconscious mind of the reader, and the interpretation of the cards is, by nature, subjective, TouchWood Mystics does not guarantee that every card reading given will be 100% accurate. TouchWood Mystics also does not guarantee that every Reiki healing session will be 100% effective.
